City Administrator Darrell Hofland to retire July 3

After 4 years as City Administrator for the City of Sheboygan, Darrell Hofland has notified Mayor Mike Vandersteen and common council of his intention to retire in July of 2020.

The notification was made in a letter to Mayor Vandersteen, Common Council President Todd Wolf, and Common Council Vice President Mary Lynne Donohue.

I have truly enjoyed working for the City of Sheboygan over the past four years, and I sincerely appreciate the support offered to of me by the Common Council. I am proud of our accomplishments

While I look forward to my next chapter, I will miss being a part of such a fine team of city staff and elected officials. It has been both rewarding and a pleasure to work with you.

Excerpt from Letter Dated April 27 from Darrell Hofland

Prior to his time in Sheboygan, Hofland served as village administrator for Grafton for 26 years and as administrator for the village of Little Chute for four years.
